Drop-offs FAQ

Q: What’s this pre-approval process all about?
A: Most of our KIS Thrift inventory comes from our partnership with KIS Clean Outs. Our capacity to accept additional items depends on several factors, including our clean outs schedule, processing space, current inventory and more. The pre-approval process allows KIS Thrift to ensure that we can accept your items and that our staff are prepared for intake.

Q: Can you pick up or pay for my items?
A: Sorry, no. For paid pick-up services, visit our partners at KIS Clean Outs: www.kiscleanouts.com

Q: Are you a charity and/or nonprofit?
A: No, we are a locally owned small business. Think of us as a bridge between your past favorites and their future owners! We offer a drop-off service to help keep quality goods out of landfills and remain in the community.

Q: Where else can I bring items?
A: LISTEN and COVER are just two of the great local nonprofits where donations fuel their programming. Check their policies before you go. You can also try the Upper Valley Goods listserve run by Vital Communities, Facebook Marketplace or your local Buy Nothing group.

Thank you for supporting a locally owned small business!
